Repeal Gun Free Zones and Firearms Privacy Protections Get Critical Votes Monday!

GREAT NEWS!

A GOA-backed bill to Repeal Gun-Free Zones is one day away from passing the Wyoming House!

Friday night, the GOA-supported Repeal of Gun Free Zones SURVIVED TWO ATTEMPTS TO WEAKEN IT ON THE HOUSE FLOOR!

Bill Sponsor, Representative Jeremy Haroldson (R – Wheatland), and other Second Amendment supporters, successfully fought off weakening amendments to the bill brought by Representatives Sandy Newsome (R – Cody) and David Northrup (R – Powell).

A second Bill (SF0105), sponsored by Senator Dan Laursen (R – Powell), would supposedly protect your firearms privacy and will get a vote in the Senate on Monday.

Sadly, SF0105 includes a very weak, almost-nonexistent penalty, to protect your Rights from infringement, and this Bill must be amended.

EVERYTHING IS ON THE LINE MONDAY!

PLEASE ACT NOW TO CONTACT THE WYOMING LEGISLATURE!

The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution makes no exceptions for feelings or emotions. Our Rights are not up for debate.

Click here to demand your elected Legislators pass the Repeal of Gun Free Zones Bill (HB0125) without any weakening amendments!

Also, demand Legislators amend SF0105 to include a criminal penalty for violations of your firearms privacy!

Wyoming’s Second Amendment Protection Act, passed in 2022, already has a criminal penalty, and SF0105 can be easily tied to this existing statute.

PLEASE ACT NOW AND SHARE THIS MESSAGE WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

HB0125 would put Wyoming among the Nation’s best when it comes to respecting your Rights to carry a firearm in public places. SF0105 could be a good bill with the addition of a criminal penalty for violating your Rights!

Click here to demand your elected Legislators pass the Repeal of Gun Free Zones Bill (HB0125) without any weakening amendments!

Also, demand they amend SF0105 to include a criminal penalty for violations of your firearms privacy!

PLEASE Act now to let your elected Legislators know you want HB0125 passed without weakening amendments and you want SF0105 passed with a strong enforcement provision.
