Washington, D.C. — Gun Owners of America (GOA) presents a new podcast: “The State of The Second,” an interview style show focusing on the impact that legislation and activism is having on the firearms industry, and the Second Amendment community.

The “State of The Second” is hosted by Kailey Nieman and John Fahrner, who each bring years of experience and expertise in both the firearms industry, and Second Amendment advocacy.

Episodes will feature interviews with a wide variety of companies and individuals from across the firearms industry and community. The goal is to discuss the effects of policy from multiple industry perspectives and give insight into how the community can move forward in defending and restoring the Second Amendment.

Co-host Kailey Nieman issued the following statement:

“Especially after having developed relationships with so many Second Amendment industry partners over the years, it’s been incredibly rewarding to now bring these folks in and talk policy for the enjoyment of gun rights activists and the Second Amendment community. This podcast will demonstrate to our listeners the steadfast commitment so many retailers, dealers, and manufacturers in the industry have to ensuring our rights are protected and secured.”

The first episode premieres on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Kailey and John are joined by EOTech VP of Marketing John Bailey as he shares his story and discusses current trends in the industry, as well as the impact of video games, political policy, and the ATF on business.

New episodes will air every Wednesday, and can be watched here.
