Special Session Incoming for Tennessee Gun Owners

Dear friend,

Governor Lousy Lee is continuing to push for red flag gun confiscation, disguised as “Mental Health Orders of Protection.”

Sadly, other dangerous red flag type bills are on the table. GOA will provide further analysis of these bills in future alerts.

Nonetheless, Lousy Lee is persistent in his desire for a special session of the legislature, and gun owners must act now to defend our rights.

If Lousy Lee was faithful to his constitutional oath, he would have called a special session to pass real Constitutional Carry, such as the previously introduced and GOA-backed HB 1005 and SB 1503.

But since a red flag special session is called, the legislature needs to ensure any measure is “dead on arrival.”

So please contact your state legislators to oppose any and all red flag gun confiscation.
