“A homeowner shot out the tires of a suspect vehicle during a burglary and held the suspects at gunpoint until deputies arrived, according the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were responding to a home on Oneill Road in Richmond for a report of an active burglary Sunday night when they learned the homeowner was holding the suspects at gunpoint, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies took Alexandria Mosher, 19, and Dominick Wood, 22, both of Lima, into custody. The sheriff’s office said the homeowner had shot out the tires of the suspect vehicle in the driveway while it was unoccupied, prompting Mosher and Wood to leave the home with their arms up and surrender to the homeowner, who held them until deputies arrived. Deputies found Mosher and Wood in possession of items from inside the home, according to the sheriff’s office. They were arrested and taken to the Ontario County Jail, charged with second-degree burglary, and released after arraignment.”
